Lol, I'm right there with you. I have an Ipod, but I don't have phone/plan that does any texting! As for the aux inputs, it's just a matter of buying an adapter cable to connect the Ipod to the composite inputs. If you want video/audio, you can get the Apple Composite AV Cable ($50). If you only care about the audio, you can get a much cheaper cable (brand/ retail store doesn't matter) that will plug into the headphone port on the Ipod, and give you just the left/right composite connectors.striz923 wrote:is there a way to plug your Ipod into those aux inputs? I am probably the only person in the free world that doesn't have an Ipod, but I do want one if it can plug into my car!!!
I have this as well, and I must say it's about the worst $80 (from Monster) I've ever spent. Perhaps it works well in an area with very few radio stations, but here in Orlando, it is always fading in & out/full of static, or allowing other signals to bleed in.SunLitSandMax00SE wrote:...My friend has this thing for his ipod in which you plug it into the cig lighter and it broadcast a radio signal and you can play the ipod through a certain fm radio channel...
I have one of those as well and it sux!!! I live in the bay area and it does the same thing... I ran RCA's on my old deck that way to play my ipod but i just dont want to have them coming from theback like that. I highly recommend a direct connection if at all possible.
