heres how i view it:

you got money and want to go RELA fast, go ahead and buy the sr20DET. it has more 400+hp specific mods(stroker kits, etc) available.

you want to roast everything(within reason to about 370hp) mod the KA.

thats what it boils down to, for me.

okay 370 hp is fine but whats the cost diff that is the whole aguement because if its is only 500 to 1000 more between 370 and the big 4 wouldnt it be worth it to go with the big four and dominate

its much cheaper overall to get 400hp out of the SR, but thats not including the importation and installation costs...just an engine-to-engine analysis.

I already went over that.

I still prefer turbo a KA, it has more torque and get similar HP range. ( or... above 350hp :D )

KA still has 0.4 displacement more than SR20 :iceangel

Ka motor is cheap. $300 against $1500.... :D you can do lot more experiment on KA

IMO, if 350hp-400hp is what you are looking for, KA is a best candidate for turbo. Want more HP ? Want more high rev ? Go for SR20...

yeah, the KA has a far smoother torque band than the SR20DET, also...

sentz0r.

-chetsome stuff isn't exactly 240 oriented, but its neat car things, like how turbos work, etc...

Just got back from the SEMA show, and my mind is made up. I can get a sr20det motor and trany for 1.800$ Canadian. I will be using a manegement sistem, so no need for the ECU or harness. My goal is 350 to 380 whp, stock internals:D After market pistons are loud it sounds like a diezel at idle

My spelling:confused:
