Hello,My name is Jim. I just became the owner of a 97 240sx se 5 speed. Love it already best car I have had. Previuos cars not realy worth mentioning 98 Mitsu GSX auto, sucked, 2001 Mitsu ECLIPSE GT Spyder sucked. Anyway new guy, so I'll probably ask lots of questions. Hope you guess will help.

dude, a 98 GSX is a bad *** car, even if its auto, 4wd and a turbo, and the 4g63 block, what didnt u like about it??, i dont like the 3rd gen eclipses, too fat

i hope u didnt expect ur 240 to keep up with ur 98 eclipse tho, cuz itll take qiute a bit or work to hit 2oo+hp and beat 4wd

good thing you got rid of the Eclipse. Too new to do any mild engine work unless you wanna take care of the crankwalk problems as well as the lightweight parts that they started using towards the end of the production years.

personally, i like the stock 16's on the S14 best.

Well in short it might have been a lemon 2 years and $13000.00 yes $13,000.00 worth of warranty work. Spent more time in the shop than on the road, but it was still fun to drive,

Yeah, bye bye eclipse, I think the crank walk thing might have come early. At one point I did break a connecting rod.But no compaints, cause now I have a 240.
