I'm really excited about the introduction of a Supercar for the masses: affordable... especially when compared with other cars with its performance class!...

Will the other manufacturers follow suit? - I hope the Lexus LFA and Acura NSX will be classed the same as the GTR and be at about the same price.... - My wish...

What do you guys think?

This is really a 50/50 shot for the simple fact that "Lexus" or "Acura" are know has luxury class status.............the Nissan is not. But then again with what the GT-R is offering it may make companies rethink their prices for their cars.

everyone knows that this year was the year of the audi r8... next years its nissan GTR! i think that the only way that this gtr is going to be affordable is if the gas milage is higher than 14 mpg BUT this car is incredable and only proves that nissan is working on solid platforms and can compete with even the best... now we need an awd 350-400z (that would be truly revolutionary)

supercar for the masses? Affordable? How much glue have you been sniffing?

My prediction? "sport touring cars" will continue to be loaded with more and more gadgets and move further into the realm of being completely sealed off from modification to the point that after you plunk down 50-80 thousand dollars the only control you will actually have over the thing is rough directional control and possible station presets on the stereo.
