I just finished up my gt28r turbo swap in my s13 and correct me if im wrong isnt the stock wastegate set for 9psi? Im only pushing out 5-6 psi right now. I triple checked for boost leaks and loose vacume hoses. Everything is tight and snug. I know I can buy boost controllers and what not but for now I just wanna make sure its even running how its supposed too. Honestly I miss my t25 at 12psi at this point. Any help would be appreciated!!

5 to 6 psi is low yeah. Did you change your intake set up at all? Even a dirty filter can cause low boost like that.

Maybe the intake tube is collapsing under load.

I Did a pressure test and it held all the way to 15 psi. And plus wouldnt it have collapsed under 12-13 psi on a t25 since im using the same stock intake? Im almost positive its the wastegate. I orederd one and hopefully it should come on friday .

I wasn't sure if you had modified the intake with the new turbo, if its stock and still has the metal coil in it then it won't collapse. Hopefully the waste gate takes care of it.

^Agreed... Either a bad spring or a not-so-snug wastegate
