Just got a new tdo6s for my K, and I dont want to use the AFC control. Any suggestions on where I should send my ECU?

but if u change something u have to get a retune, get the afc

he siad he doesnt want to use the afc. i dont have experince tuning and im not tryin to blow my built motor so jwt was the way to go plus the afc cant handle 740cc injectors

what injectors can the AFC handle?

not really that it cant handle them but the afc can only tune down inejectors 50%. so half of 740cc is 370cc which would my the ka run really rich at idle. the ka uses what 285cc injectors. so the highest i guess u could go to get a perfect idle is 550cc maybe it owuld be different with a larger maf

the s-afc can handle up to 550 or 600cc injectors, depending on MAF(the 600 may idle a bit 'off' though). if you get a JWT re-write, it can handle +50% of the re-write *supposively*

yea i meant to add that. u can get the jwt retune then the afc to fine tune it. jwt makes conservation fuel and timing maps jsut because the cant tune a car they dont have there. so they play it safe
