Alright, I'm slowly progressing toward turboing/supercharging my KAE. I know, I know. "Why spend money and time on a KAE?", some of you might ask, but I, as well as a few of you out there (you know who you are), love the SOHC. I love the sound, torque, legality, etc. Yeah going turbo doesn't make it exactly legal anymore but it would be sooo much easier to switch back parts to make do. I found a guy here in Washington (state) that had a midget dirt racer and has a plethera of performance goodies that I hope he will sell me soon. I just bought the Solid lifters from him on friday and will put them in today. He also has: Block (which isn't exactly stock), fully ballanced crank, corillo(spelling) rods, nismo 11.?:1 pistons (yeah their out there), Crank scraper, and my fav part........... the rebuilt head w/ si's stainless steel valves, brass guides, and stiffer springs. I hope to pick up that bad boy soon. So without further adue, the lifters:

There they are.

do you really think stiffer springs will be needed? stock one's should be good enough, right?

Well, with the stiffer springs, and solid lifters, I can gain more revs. I plan on porting the head and going turbo. So, we'll see how she likes it.

i sent off my lifters to hybridka and never had a single reply or anything from them, how did you get those?do you have a phone number or any other contact than the website. A phone number would be great because I want solid lifters. Also where did you get that fully counterweighted crank?thanks
