New goodies installed and an extra special thanks to the installer ! :pface

I had quite a few goodies put in yesterday and I'll be posting pics as soon as i get them all hosted. Just wanted to thank trpower7 for doing all the work and an excellent job at that. Too bad he doesn't have the benefit of getting to see everyone drool over it.

It was a long day from 7am to 11 pm with a few obstacles along the way but car is incredible now. Here's what I had put in:

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs KYB AGX Adjustable ShocksSS Brake Lines (front and rear)300 ZX TT Front X-Drilled/Slotted Rotors300 ZX TT Front CalipersX-Drilled/Slotted Rear Rotors

Very nice. What's the general impression of everything? How's the pedal feel with the new Z32 brakes and (I'm assuming) stock MC?

It's a lot to get used to all at once. Car handles great now. Very tight and smooth. It is the stock MC. Pedal is a little soggy but feels like it is getting tighter or I am getting used to it. It has serious stopping power now. I needed it though with the turbo set-up. Stock brakes just aren't enough for 11 psi. I'm very happy with all of it. Great upgrade worth doing.

Thanks again trpower7! I totally love all of it.

Ok here's a few pics. A couple were taken when it was dark but you can see the KYB's in those.

Mmmm....shiny, shiny rotors.

Just curious...where did you get set of 240SX stainless lines for the rear only? Did you buy a set of 4 and just not use the front ones?

Sorry, I thought I made it clear that I used SS Lines on the front and rear. I got them from ProjectSilvia.com. They make a set specifically for doing the front brake upgrade.

Ah...cool. I see now. I knew that ProjectSilvia made stainless lines for the Z32 conversion, but I didn't know they sold stainless lines for stock rears too. When you buy Goodridge stainless lines for a 240SX, you normally get a set of 4. It's good to know that ProjectSilvia sells them separately.

Luckily trpower7 is the part hookup. He told me where to get all my parts for the best price. So I didn't really spend that much money for everything. Just under $600 can get you all the parts needed for the brake upgrade. That is everything excluding an upgraded master cylinder. ;)

Very very nice upgrade!

*drools* :)

I've been thinking about doing the same/similar thing but I have no idea what all it would take.

GR I drive a 98 240sx, If I'm not mistaken your upgrade would be very similar to the one I've planed.

Could you possibly put me in contact with the bad*** that did your upgrade?

Plus I do live in northern Mississippi and I have lots of trouble finding other 240 enthusiasts in my area. I'd love to get in touch with a few others in my area! :help

Send me what Info you can :)

GirlRacerS14, 25 is good, i'm 26 and in the next state over. :D

I must say, your car is one of my favorite 240's I have seen. Nice clean look, with the perfect mods. Turbo, suspension, brakes, a nice set of rims.

Plus I think a lady who is into cars is hot.

I'd have to agree with JESTER about the girl thing. Girls that are into cars are definately hot. It's nice to be able to mention something about a car and not get that stupid look, or be able to talk about cars with them.
