Welcome!

Well after a really unsuccesful attempt of using LED's in my gauges. I decided to go the high road a year later and pick up the B1 Polarg bulbs off ebay for about 8 bucks a pair. (We need 3 so I put the extra one in the trunk!) The LED's (wide angle and high output etc.) just didn't work out for me, they were splotchy, blue, and not as bright as I'd hoped. What can I expect for a few bucks off ebay though right? Anyway, just thought I'd share, and give my 100% approval on these B1 Polarg bulbs - even thought it might have been covered several times already:

Here is what they used to look like

And here it is after the bulbs

Crisp, clean, white, and bright! Much improved.

Clock won't come on without being in ACC. I just ran out and flicked my parking lights on for the secondary shots .

Thanks for your concern though!

I might change the #74 bulb now too though...bright white lights all around!

no doubt dude, it looks fantastic. also being the price of leds, dont be afraid to mix it up and try out some new colors.

Yes the S13's use the same 194 bulbs. Here is a link to the type I used:

http://www.importintelligence....-Edit

Try ebay for the same product though. Much cheaper. Remember you'll only need 2 packs, we have a few 194's in our cars though, so you could probably try them other places as well.

(Trunk / Tail lights / Gauges / Parking lamps?)

Here's me failing at taking a somewhat interior shot. Apparently there was some kind of earthquake, or I just have really unsteady hands!

nice man im still deciding between blue and hyper white like you did

also, have you tried superbrightleds.com a lot have people have used them for gauge cluster bulbs and other interior lights. They have everything from simple 194 to wide angle 5 led 194 bulbs. Check them out for other stuff and def. better quality than egay.

No issues with Egay, just buy a quality product. I didn't exactly save much going through eBay, but 4 bucks is 4 bucks

Condoms come with the bulbs. Bulbs are clear with a (for the white lights at least) Blue rubber covering. The other B1 Polargs I believe come in Red and include the condom as well.

Haha..yes, just buy the red bulbs. They make the B1 Hybrid's in that color as well so you're in luck.

With it being blue when you put the white led's in there, its because there's a blue film supposedly over the cluter. Dunno where cuz I put blue leds in mine. They're from the site mentioned above....brightleds.com recommended if you're looking for leds...so I have a blue gauge cluster and green clock. Can't have pics up cuz I'm on my pghone right now. Also that's why there's bad spelling ect..I'm at a bar and waiting for the lakers to beat the celtics....

If anyone is going switch them out with led's then I highly suggest getting the 5 wled for the cluster. The first time i bought the single inverted leds and wasn't at all pleased with the light output as it was dull. Then i switched to the 5 led ones and was very pleased.

So how many bulbs are needed for an s13 hatch? Oh and does anybody have any idea why my entire cluster isn't working? I took it out to clean some stuff and change the dash and now it just doesn't work at all.
