I've been away from the N/I crowd for too long... first joined NICO with my A/C, then got a 370 as a project car and Tacoma TRD Sport for a dd. Tacoma was stolen, looked around for almost 2 months... :ohno:

And decided to come back with a vengeance! :BnB:

Wife rolled home in an 2011 EX35 Journey AWD... and I was in hot pursuit with my new obsidian black 2011 G37 Sport Sedan! :badger

Just a crappy, quick pic from my phone... more of both cars later! It's good to be back in the N/I camp!

The only thing I'm not too keen on is the "short throw," which is dramatically longer than any short-throw I've installed before... So it'll likely get replaced with the Stillen unit & the all-Ti NISMO knob! Otherwise, it's a beautiful car! Can't wait to get an exhaust, headers and Stillen s/c on it! :naughty:

LOL, I blame my grandfather who developed the FI on the P-38 Lightning @ Lockheed during WWII, it's in my blood! :gotme

Bought it Monday, as of tonight it has ~830 miles on it 'ala an overnight trip to a client's office in WV...

Rides beautifully!

However, the lampshade some a$$ left in the middle of the road that rolled into my path (smearing the bottom left of the lip spoiler) ruined the joy for the trip hom!

Yeah... fortunately, it was mostly bug guts and very little smearing, etc. The dealership took care of it before the Perma-Plate install this morning. Now to put a couple layers of Meguiars on!

Danke zer!

So far, only changes have been perma-plate and dumping a bottles of Redline's Water Wetter and (1/2 bottle) Oil Break-In Additive under the hood.

I've already ordered the NISMO Ti knob from Z1, and the Stillen short-throw from well, Stillen! :chuckle:

Tempted as hell by Stillen's special on buying their cat-back and getting the Gen3 VL Tube intake for free! :bigthumb:

Good lookin' rides

Cant wait to see the Stillen SC install on your G...that kit is much better for the G37 compared to the first gen version!

Sup,fellas
I just traded in my 07 g35 sedan and got the 11 G37 sport sedan looking to get some coilovers.I want to do things rite...After doing some research I've narrowed it down to 2 set ups...
Stance or Tanabe-I got (1200) to spend..
I'm not sure which way to go,I want the best quality for my dollar and car.
I'm looking for looks and performance!!!
And will I need anything else for this mod???
Any other companies I might want to consider??
Someone please help...
I can't stand driving this car around stock-it sucks!!!!

And *I* haven't had my coffee... still. :argh

Anywho, while I'm here:

1. Dropped in a K&N Performance Gold oil filter and Red Line 5W30 last week... Haven't had time to do anything else.

2. Sold my Z to my cousin, whose shop it's been sitting in for almost 2 years... Got out what I had in, and he's just picking up where I left off. Will get another project when the wife is done with residency... maybe a GT-R w/ some AMS lovin??? :gotme
