After driving dozens of loaner G35/37 sedans, due to my M45 being a Lemon .I decided to try an trade it in on a G37.

My issuse is with the M45. It was a super clean CPO car. I tried to trade in at Nissan, for a Maxima, and they would not even take the car because of the CARFAX. I questioned them why? I purchased the car as a CPO and recieved a clean ACCUCHECK and a signed CPO inspection report. Then Nissan showed me the CARFAX, the first line showed STRUCTURAL DAMAGE! I was shocked, as it turns out in 08 the car was in two acccidents but the CARFAX did not update until after I purchased the car in 09. The problem is the car was repaired at an Infiniti dealer where I got the car, so they knew the damage existed, yet still certified the car. The value took approximately a $2500 at trade in, and the CARFAX reports a -$1250 in value due to the report. What should I do, leave it alone or try and recoup my losses. By the way, the dealer that sold me the car is out of business but still has a sister dealership in Miami. Anyone on the forum a Lawyer who could chime in or PM me. Thanks a million.

PS. Very much enjoying my G37 Premuim Package in Blue Slate/Black Interior and its new so no CARFAX needed I hope!

Yea well first change your profile!

Second, yes i would seek a lawyer and ask them if you have a case.. You never know.. Give it a shot.. A lawyer wants to make money if the lawyer thinks you have a valid case then they will be happy to represent you.
