Hey everybody, just purchased my first Infiniti G37S yesterday so I figured joining the forums was the important next step. Currently own an 05 Grand Prix Comp G that I have had some fun playing with so this should be a fun car to work on as well. I am based out of Pearl Harbor, HI and coming back stateside soon. Here is a pic.

Looking nice. congrats on your new car.

Now rocket, these cars have tons of options, but I don't think they are waterproof so don't try to drive it from Hawaii to the states! :-)

Welcome! I like that you couldn't even wait to get it off the showroom floor to take pics.

Sounds like you are in the military. Thanks so much for keeping us all safe and sound so we can enjoy our Gs.

Thanks for the welcome fellas, I just wish I wasn't half an ocean away from all of the car clubs nowadays. I think the only question I have thus far is, does anyone have any experience with lightly modding their cars and still being able to retain the warranty with the car? I am only planning on doing the intake, exhaust, and maybe a tune (the last one normally will void warranties with car makers but still wanted to ask). Thanks again for the help.

realistically, I can tell you the only things what won't void a warranty, performance wise, is intake and exhaust (catback). No changing core components or electrical items.

The warranty will be fine if a modification does not directly contribute to a failure. So suspension mods might void a warranty on suspension components, but if your seat motor died, they would fix it.

Thank you for your service

When I was in the Military back in 66 in Germany I bought a brand new 66 Volkswagen beedle. I think it had 50 hp. I'm sure the sales tax on your new G was more than my beedle.

Beetles are still pretty cool, especially with what people do with them these days. What I wouldn't give for a VW bus....
