Hello, guys. I recently bought G35X. This is my first Infiniti and have some questions. Any help would be appreciated. My car only has 400 miles on it. When I park the car and don't turn the engine off, after some time, I feel a little vibration and hearing a little roar, then it goes away, then comes back again. Sometimes, I feel it when I drive too except no vibration.I also get a smell when I put on defogger or start AC. Anybody experianced that? I am not even sure if those things are normal for a new car. Thanks a lot.

My first guess is the little roar and vibration you are getting is the electric fans turning on and off. When your car is not moving there is no natural airflow going through the radiator. As for the smell of the ??? What kind of smell is it? Only suggestion is either change the a/c filter or make sure nothing died under the hood. With only 400 miles it should not smell like anything other than fresh leather.

The smell is most likely coming from the exhaust. Infiniti puts a coating on it to keep the rust off when it's in transit from Japan to the dealership.

you need an a/c refresher kit... its probably mildew in the evap...very very common for infiniti

Thank you very much, guys. I sure hoped that it would not be anything serious, I do like the car a lot, and it is my first Infiniti after all, so I am not that familiar with the car.
