I knew I'd find a collection of enthusiasts as soon as I had time to look!

I'm the proud new owner of an '07 G35S that I've been driving around in for a couple of weeks. The tech integration takes a little while to get accustomed to, but since I upgraded from a 2000 Accord that had nothing more than a CD changer as "tech", that's to be expected.

What isn't to be expected is what happened on the way in to work today. I'm uploading some phone numbers into my Bluetooth on the new G35, and it froze. Solid. I can't change the radio station, use the Nav, or otherwise navigate away from the screen that says "downloading". I didn't have time to play with it before work, but I'm a little concerned by this 1 month into the car.

Any suggestions from the experts? TIA.

Hi doc!

First off, you bought an awesome car... and my personal favorite color.

I have experienced the same issue with mine (mine's an 03), and there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it.... It was explained to me that "it's a computer, and sometimes computers freeze up."

Not a good enough explanation for me, so I pestered the dealer... Mine happened to be an issue with the DVD component, which was fiddled with under warranty. Hasn't happened since, but that doesn't mean they did anything, haha!

Short answer? Time to bug the dealer.

Thanks AZ, that was my plan, but the dealership is on the other side of town and I was hoping to avoid a trip out there. I'll probably ask them for a tank of gas or car wash for my troubles....

Yes, welcome to NICO! I'm pretty new too but I LOVE this group of guys, they are so helpful and for someone who knew nothing about cars other than, "I like this one" or "I don't like that one" I have learned an AWFUL lot!

I don't know about the G, but the NAV system in my 330i can be reset or "rebooted" if something like that were to happen. Maybe there's mention of it in your manual?

Hi.I made the same wise choice & also have the same car/color. Tech Pkg; Nav; Prem;haven't experienced this one (yet) but sometimes while in the Phonebook and attempting to manually scroll down the list, as soon as i reach phone # 12 & I am attempting to go to the next page, it gets stuck.
