04 g35 coupe

Are 20" wheels too much for the G?

20X8.5 Front & 20X10 RearOffets: 20 Front, 25 Rear

I'm planning to lower in the near future also.

What wheel size is the most common for g35's? 19's?

Sorry for the newbie questions.

With those sizes, you might rub depending on the drop. You'd definitely need to roll your fenders. I had 20s on my car but had to take em off after my drop cuz of rubbing issues.

Thanks for your reply johnparkyourcar. I saw the pics of your g in another post. It looked good with those 20's on. No one else in here has any other opinion. I would really appreciate the advices.

Should I go with 19X8.5 front & 19X9.5 rear then?

I hope I didn't scare you away from getting 20s. If thats what you want, then go for it. But with 20s, you're only gonna be able to drop it a little bit to avoid rubbing. How much of a drop were you planning on? Also, coilovers or just springs?

EDIT:Actually, re-reading your first post, you'd be able to pull off that size but it'll depend on your offsets. Probably won't be too happy with the offset you'd have to get to make it fit tho.

Just re-re read the post and realized you posted the offsets doh.... is there any way to test fit the rims with tires?

[QUOTE=johnparkyourcar]I hope I didn't scare you away from getting 20s.

No you didn't. I'm probably going to go with tiens full coilovers and drop around 2 inches. How low were you dropped on your 20's? I read 1 of your posts that you were saving up to buy another set of wheels and since you've experienced w/20's.......what size are you planning to go with next?

I'm still debating whether I should go with the 19's or the 20's. These are the wheels I'm planning to get. From http://www.wheelfire.com

20X8.5 front & 20X10 rear w/ offsets 20(front) & 25(rear)Comes with Tires: Front 245/35/20, Rear 275/35/20 Nitto NT555

19X8.5 front & 19X9.5 rear w/ offsets 20(front) & 30(rear)Comes with Tires: Front 245/35/19, Rear 275/35/19
