Anyone see the new G35 add in magazines?

"If fast were a color it would be much more opinionated than blue. It may think about being black but demand more spirit. It would be more aggressive than green and be less cautious than yellow. If fast were a color it would be RED."

It shows a picture of Laser Red coupe sitting on a red carpet with a red drape behind in the middle of a city street.

Yes, red is the color for the G. You all know your car envy's my car. Haha.

I just saw that in an issue of Motor Trend I picked up last night. I have to admit I love the look of red on most cars. But my first car was red. I got a lot of tickets in that thing. No more red cars for me.....ever.

I don't know. I really don't like green. The only green I've ever liked is the very dark metallic green on my Maxima. But that G35 looks a hell of a lot better in that color than any other car would. I think maybe there are three cars that could get away with that color. A late model Honda CRX--a guy in my neighborhood has one exactly that color...if it wasn't so riced out, it'd be kinda cool--and a DeTomaso Pantera. And the G35.Maybe if it had some black on it somewhere...stripes or two-tone. I think that'd help a lot.

Well that certaintly isn't a stock color. Thank god for that. However, the G sedan in the Emerald Green doesn't look bad.

It's been statistically proven by insurance company and law enforcement data that red cars are involved in more collisions than any other colour of car. As a result insurance companies charge a higher premium for them. The cheapest to insure is white, for whatever reason, they are involved in the lowest number of collisions.

my insurance company said that the color of the car has nothing to do with its policy. It's abotu the driver, safety ratings, and what the car itself is worth.

Its a common refrain, but those of us who have worked on the policy/ risk assessment/business intelligence side of the insurance industry know better. Insurance companies keep insurance data on the craziest things, some on from accounting comes up with formulas to assess premiums based on every bit of information they ask.
