Car: 2008 G37 Journey coupe

Post

Wusup everyone my name is Cruz, i am 20 years old and i am from Jersey. I somewhat recently bought a 2008 G37 Journey coupe auto trans back in august of 2012, with around 59k miles. Since then i put about 3.2k miles on it, an did the required maintenance whenever i needed to. I want to put mods on it such as intake, exhaust, HFC, breaks, suspension, an also a grounding kit to better the shifting gears. I recently had some issues with the display where it looks like the pixels busted and just move around every time i turn the car off an on. I am guessing it was from the extremely cold weather the past couple months. Any suggestions on mods i was thinking of stillen gen 3 long tube intakes, fast intentions HFC, Magna Flow cat back exhaust, grounding kit, breaks, and suspension i have no idea what to get. I don't know too much about cars i just did as much research as i could.

Welcome to NICO

You can enjoy your G37 by just doing regular maintenance.

Spending thousands of dollars on a vehicle that can get wiped out in a split second in case of an accident does not in my opinion make good financial sense.
A few thousand dollars properly invested at the age of 20 will be worth considerably more when you are 40.
I'm assuming you are still living at home and have some $$$ burning a hole in your pocket.
Think carefully before sinking $$$ in what is a depreciating piece of metal.
When you meet someone and start a family those mods will not seem so important at those 3AM feedings

Just my $.02

Good luck

For the display you can find a replacement on ebay and simply swap it out. For mods they sure make the car much more fun. Do research on the options and then purchase from a reputable shop; I suggest TunerzStore.com

If you have specific questions concerning a particular mod we can help you out.
