Hi everyone. I've decided to transfer over to the FX forum from the EX35 forum. This is my first FX and I love it. I've been wanting one since they came out in the early 2000's. This is my new (new to me) FX50 Sport with Technology Package. Just got it on Friday (5/20/11) with 15,500 miles on it. It's hard to tell if I got a good deal or not. I gave them a paid-off 2008 EX35 AWD Journey with 30,000 miles, loaded with every package and option that existed in 2008, and $22,000 out the door, all taxes and fees included. I got the loan for 60 months at 2.59%.

I was able to get $2k off their asking price, but I still tried to get them to come down another grand, throw in an update to the navigation maps, and include a 3 year maintenance plan. They didn't budge. Maybe I should have gotten up and walked out to see how serious they were. Anyway, it's done.

I think it's Midnight Mocha, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Looks more like eggplant or plum to me, but whatever. I like it! Looks purple in direct sunlight, but charcoal grey when the sun starts to set. I've never seen it looking anything that would resemble mocha. Explain that one to me. Anyway, enjoy!

Sorry, didnt read this until after I posted on your mirror subject. I also traded in a 2008 EX35 wtih 4000 miles on it. What was the asking price of your 50S?

I responded in deatail on the mirror thread. Hard to do now because I'm using my phone. They were asking $47,995. With a trade, it's difficult to tell what I actually paid for theirs and what I actually received for mine.

That's a gorgeous car. I wish I could get one myself.
