ok, so I changed all the fuel injectos on my 91 240sx. I did this because they were starting to go out one by one. So I bit the bullet and bought new injectors from Deatschwerks.

so I took the old ones out and 'lubed' the new ones with the goo that came with the injectors. I started the car and it started to smoke gray smoke. It wasn't much so I took the car around the block.

I didn't get very far when the car started smoking really bad. So much so, that it scared the daylights out of me. Of course, I also started smelling something burning.

I barely got back, parked the car and turned it off. I waited a few minutes and there was no explossion so... the car is still there, I just don't know what happened or in what condition it is in.

What should I check/do?

Thanks in advance.

how about u go check and see if there are any fuel leaks, or just even look for anything abnormal, but just look under the hood...

I did. I took out the injectors to find two of the injectors had the smaller o-ring torn. So I went out and bought the o-ring kit and will be installing them later on today.

ok, so I finally got the new fuel injectors replaced again. This time I went out and bought some vaseline and rubbed it all over the o-rings. I turned on the motor and still idles rough and smokes a little. When I give it some gas the smoke gets so much worse.

At idle it sounds like it is sputtering... not firing correctly. So I went and took out all the spark plug wires and the only one to that does not make a difference is the 2nd one. WHen I take out the 2nd wire it stays the same... rough idle. WHen I take out the plug to the injector it also does nothing.

THe smoke... I am not sure. It smells like it is running rich, it is coming from the tail pipe.
