New fuel filter....now horrible gas mileage!!

I just changed the fuel filter in my S13 along with all the fuel lines and now Im getting really bad gas mileage. i checked all the areas for leaks and theres nothing, the engine seems like its runing really rich too and its really sluggish while accelerating. Does anybody know what can be wrong or whats causing this?

Sounds like a bad fuel injector seal, or a leak somewhere - I know you said you checked.... but....

hmm, thats weird.. you might of did something wrong.. im not to sure on that stuff though.. hope you find the problem...

After i swapped my filter and fuel pump for a bigger filter and a walbro I experienced the same thing. Make sure all your vacuum lines are ok, and replace all your tubing and clamps on your fuel delivery.
