Hi Everyone,

I am a proud owner of a new used 2000 Nissan Frontier king cab 4x4 SE. This truck is unbelievable compared to my friends' ranger and s-10. I do have a question whenever I make a right or left turn at under 5mph and have the steering wheel turned all the way there is this loud popping grinding noise. Doesn't matter if I'm going forward or reverse. If I make a turn at higher speeds say 15 mph you don't hear the sounds but then again I also don't have the steering wheel turned all the way at those speeds. The car still moves smoothly there isn't jerking or stuttering just the sound. Any advice on motor oil spark plugs, air filter anything I can do to help keep this truck running for a few more years. Thanks

If it's doing this with the wheel pegged, it's probably just your steering stops. Get under the truck and look at the back side of your knuckles...you'll see what looks like a metal cap on the end...put a couple dabs of grease on those and enjoy the truck.

Hi guys!

I'm about to own a second hand 98' Nissan Frontier and I just can't wait to drive it already.

Unfortunately, it is has an automatic transmission. Does anyone here knows how much it would cost me if I am going to convert it into a manual Nissan Transmission?

Also, the nissan brake calipers of the Frontier is in bad condition due to corrosion and stuff, I was wondering if I should replace it with a new Nissan Tailgate Handle or should I let it be? Is it that really important?

Kind Regards and Good Times Everyone!

You should have bought a 5 speed truck in the first place.

it depends greatly on what you pay for a transmission. You'll need the transmission, the master slave cylinder, a shifter, the clutch linkage, and I'm thinking your ECU will be mad at you and will protest with unresolvable check engine codes.
