whats up my names Brandan im in Texas DFW area i just sold my 500+whp 98 turbo civic and picked up a 1995 240sx with a sr20(chops@MVP old car)
plans for it is to sale the whole sr20 set up and do a 2j for street/strip

for those that dont know the car here it is, i bought it the way it wits with out the volks

Ive seen this car before..

I'm not sure why you would ditch that SR setup if its in good running condition, its making good power with that setup.

How much are you estimating that 2J swap will cost? and how much will it cost to make more power then your current setup?

Just something to think about..

i agree, especially with the ve-t conversion becoming more popular. you can go that route and still make the power that your maybe chasing for from the 2jz. unless your just bored of the sr motor, but at that point why bother? go ls or get a supra?

but anyways... goodluck with it!

Nice car bro. Dude's probably ready for more displacement and power goals of 600-800hp. Resources, tuning are here in Texas. That M8270 Kit on a SR20 should get you somewhere around 450hp. Getting a Supra would just add more weight. Even though I've been seeing some sick RB25's and 26 S14's flying around, good luck on your 2JZ Swap in the S14. Convert to Big Single turbo and surprise a few modded GTR's. Hehee. :D
