As I'm sure you have seen (since you are here), NICO has made a new sub-forum for all Z owners. What this allows us to do is configure forum options easier for each generation. Currently, 350z/370z has three forums setup under the category: General, classifieds and technical. Do these forums meet the needs of the community? Should the technical forum be broken out more for engine/drivetrain/body/interior, etc. or is the current configuration "just right" for now?

Thoughts and comments welcomed. No whining

so does that mean you have to go to the z-classifieds to find Z parts for use on s-chassis cars? or will all classifieds be in a "general classifieds"? kinda nice having them all in 1 spot but also nice to have them seperated as the classifieds can get messy.

sorry, crown and coke got me postin here...

Look in both places at this point. Changes that are coming will make things much easier.

My 2cents:

I like the fact that it's better spread-out, and if you really are searching or posting for something, it's easier to get what you want. However, there is little activity on some of these new "spread-out" sections. That may change with time. More so, a lot of classifieds were not 350Z or 240Z specific. Some (like wheels) were better off being seen (and read) by more members and thus helping with the sale. Still... I think it's for the best.

We are working to get more traffic in the current gen and classic Z forums so we needed something more than just a single forum for each. There will be some contention from time to time with classifieds but there should be a whole new classifieds section in a few months that will take care of things. Forum search will be much better as well.

Lots of changes coming down the pipe and we just needed to get this change out of the way, thus, why I'm trying to see if more forums are desired in this Z category or not.

At first I didn't care for the change because it seemed a lot of content was lost or deleted. But I think I was logging on while the transfer was taking place because everything is back now. I like the changes.

i love the new format, since i use both the 350 z and classic z forums it is alot easier to find info, and i wish something could be done with the classified section, dont like having to read thru all the 240 sx classifieds or something i didnt need when searching for parts or info. are you planning to leave the "parting out" section where it is?that is a very good source for hard to find car specific parts. thanks, and keep up the good work. NICO ROCKS

Yeah, after some drama things are pretty much sorted. The technical forum will grow more over time.
