I love how everybody on this board has jumped on the bandwagon of getting fog lights installed (including me). I have not yet installed them but they have arrived off ebay. Anyways, I really like that instead of installing OEM looking ones you actually installed a set in the lower grill. Hats off to that! Don't know how to fix your problem though. Sorry

Where are you getting power from? Removing the fuse & it works is telling you something. The power that the lights are drawing for their receiver is taking power away from the keyless entry receiver.

Wow Clipsed, I just read thru this forum, and see you post a lot of ... well, nothing. Do you usually postwhore this much?

You seem to know your Versas, and suppliers. You should write an article, or a "how to". It would score you a custom title, and respect.

well sorry if I am a postwhore, I guess maybe I just get on more than others. And for your info I did try doing a How-To on the stereo and speaker install, but came late for that. I think you lost your self on the way to the Maxima forums. Last I checked this was a forum for people of the same interests could come and converse and were not limited to how many posts or wut nonsense they post on the board. As long as I am not doing anything against the rules I don't see where I did wrong.

I prefer the fog lights in the stock position.FYI i got power straight from the batery and i put the switch next to the mirror adjustment, where theres an empty switch.the switch has a bright LED so its noticable when on.the only thing is its constant power,I havent 4got them on yet!

I never get lost in my own backyard. You have not broken any rules, but are coming close with your "secret supplier" stuff. I am generally a rather cynical, jaded and rude type of guy, so I will say nothing more, in order to be polite.

If thats the case I have no idea why you would lose transmission power on your key fob.

Can you change the frequency or codes on the fog lights?

To wire a light switch so that you never "forget" to turn them off:

Run a power wire from the 12V cig lighter to the switch. From the switch run a wire to a power relay. The relay will draw power directly from the battery. From the relay, run a power wire to your lights. Ground the other lead on your lights.

With setup, the relay will turn off power to the lights when the switch is off or when you shut down the car.
