10" with a +45 fits in the rear...there is TONS of coilover clearance.
If you have stock fenders and want to run a 255 or bigger tire...then you need to get a +35 for a 10" wheel. The +12 is great for stretched tire and tons of camber (drift look), but not for adding meaty tires to the rear of our 240.
17X9, +35 with a 255/40-17 reqires a slight roll on an S13 with -1 to -1.5 camber.
Adding 12mm to each side of the rim (10" rim width), then pushing it out further by reducing the offset to +12 - you now pushed it out an INCH further.
If you like -3 camber and a 215 tire on a 10" wheel...go for it.
If you want a flush look with decent sized tires, then get the +35.
Obviously, pulled fenders and flares change this considerably...but for stock body with a roll...keep it reasonable.
