AIT just emailed me telling me that they are developing a "carbon fiber roof cover" like they have for the 350Z. Here's a link:

Personally, I don't know if I'd put it on my car, but AIT's been showing the A/C a lot of love, so let them know we appreciate their efforts!

Redundant on a black coupé, but applaud the effort of R & D nevertheless

I believe the guy with the red G in NYC, when they did his CF overlay, they had to take out his glass. Not sure what's involved here and how it's held down. Would suck to pay 5 bills for this and watch it blow right the hell off on the highway...AND get a freakin ticket to boot for littering That would be my dumb luck

Nah - more likely you would get jacked for your Rims (like on Menace II Society) and your Roof .

Or you find your car on blocks and scratches on your roof where your overlay used to be.

If they had to take out the glass to do the install then it must be more secure than just tape.

I emailed them a few weeks ago asking if they had any plans for development of a CF roof wing for the coupes (since they already exist for the sedans). The response I got was:

Dear customer,

CF roof wing for Altima coupe will be available shortly.

Sincerely,

AITRacing.com

IT'S GONNA BE MIIIIINE!!!...when I get money again......
