So I got the Megan Racing S13 cat-back, test pipe, and turbo elbow. Beautiful pieces, especially for the money. And the turbo elbow fits better than the stock one. I also got a Greddy downpipe. Was planning on getting the MR one, but the Greddy fell into my lap for way too little money to pass.

Put it all together and the downpipe rides against the frame rail pretty hard. Had to cut the flange off and orient it about 5 degrees steeper than it was already. So if you are doing elbow and everything, I think you may have the same issues I did.

Results with new exhaust: Boost spikes to 13 psi and maintains 12 psi all the way to 5500 RPM then boost tapers down to 8 psi by 7000. Engine revs freely to 7000 without whimpering. This is a totaly stock CA other than the exhaust and a crappy worn out cone filter that needs to be thrown away as soon as possible. I haven't even played with timing yet. Before the exhaust it would spike to 12 and maintain 10 to about 4700 RPM then taper down to 7 psi by around 5500 RPM.

BTW, before the exhaust, I raced my roommate's Mini Cooper S which is totally stock. We were dead even to just over 100 from a rolling start. I had just over 400 lbs of passenger and he was alone (180 lbs maybe). I was hoping it would be a bit quicker than that, but of course I am not done playing with it.

Increase in PSI is pretty common after uncorking an exhaust, especially in older turbo'd cars (b/c of das computa). Do you have a front mount too?

no front mount, like I said totally stock except crappy cone filter. Even the stock computer right now. I have a Mine's waiting to go in, but I want to make sure everything is working perfectly first.

I walked this one kids Cooper S with only intake, ecu chip, stock 2" downpipe, 3" test pipe and the same Megan Racing exhaust.

When I threw on my friends 3" CA downpipe it made a HUGE diffrence. Then I walked a VW GTi hardcore :D

All this on 10 psi holding throught the rev range :ylsuper

Spectre23- Did the Megan Racing exhaust, test pipe, and turbo elbow all bolt straight onto the CA? And does the downpipe bolt straight on as well (looks like it from the picture)? This is the first I've ever heard of them and if this is the case, it may be hugely helpful.

They all bolted straight on but the Greddy downpipe needed to be modified by about 4 or 5 degrees. Not sure if it because of something different on the turbo elbow or if the DP was hosed.
