so i was driving down the road and i smelt something burning on the high way so i didnt think any thing of it, and i got back to the house and parked in the garage and the smell was even worse.

after about a week of a horrible smell whenever i got out of my car i decided to look under, somewhere along the line i ran over a plastic bag and it melted to my exhaust midpipe.

what can i do to get it off? am i screwed? its thick like it folded over on top. and its on my new stillen.

take some gasoline.. a lighter.. and a fire extinguisher under neath the car! that heat shielding is there for something!! ...Ok so on a serious note, you can probably go at it with a razor and get most of it off, then let the last part slowly burn away.
