So I'm looking into an aftermarket exhaust for the Z...hopefully will be purchasing one in the next few weeks. The exhausts I'm considering so far are NISMO and Stillen....both seem reasonably priced with decent hp gains. However, I'm open to any suggestions...anyone have high recommendations for a specific exhaust other than the ones I mentioned? Also, any opinions from those that already have a NISMO or Stillen exhaust? I just want to be informed before I make the purchase....any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Also, I'm not planning on doing any racing....the car is strictly for street use....just want a little more power/ better sound...

I love my NISMO exhaust...I also have test pipes and it does sound very bad-***. THe dealer backed warranty is nice, too.

yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards NISMO....

Does anyone have experience/ opinions with any of these exhausts: Apexi, Borla, Injen or Invidia?

Just want to check all my options....

Also, leaning towards NISMO body kit parts...look cool w/o being too ricey...and very reasonably priced.

I would go with the NISMO on both as well.

The exhaust look near stock and sounds awesome.

OK, looks like NISMO is winning....

I've done some research though, and some other brands offer a little more hp for less $$$$.....for example, Borla increases hp a whopping 16-20 (compared to 6 hp gain for NISMO) and cost $250 less....anyone have more opinions on this?

I realize there are other factors....for example, the NISMO would require less labor plus you would have the warranty....

who knows....just wanna do a little more research before I make the purchase.

Get the Nismo, It's a great brand and a quality product that looks near stock.

Those HP numbers are subject to many factors.

Do you recommend the test pipes also?

Illinois doesn't check emissions...but a state I might be moving back to within a year, North Carolina, does check emissions. Maybe I'll hold off on the test pipes for now.

IL does do emissions testing, just not every county.

So I call IntensePower about the missing part....and they're total complete ***holes. They said I was a liar in so many words and they basically took no responsibility and told me to file a claim with UPS and it wasn't their problem. So I'm filing a dispute with my credit card company to get the transaction cancelled and shipping the parts back to the ***holes....I'm also filing a claim with UPS so they don't try to claim the part was missing when they get it back.

I'll NEVER EVAR deal with this company again....under any circumstances.....
