New Exhaust system/ O2 sensors

Whats up people. I did an SR20DET, Red Top, Swap a couple of weeks ago. The Stock Downpipe from the KA was welded to the Cat Converter, so the SR Down pipe wouldn't bolt on unless I did some welding work.

On the good side, the downpipe that came with the clip was a Nismo 3" down pipe. In result, I got Megan Racings 3" straight pipe catback with OE style muffler and dual tip exhaust with their 3" Test pipe. The Test pipe will come in tomorrow and I was reading a bit and came across a question.

Will the O2 sensors trip after installation of the exhaust? Is it a requirement to put in O2 Simulators when installing after market exhaust or only if a CEL is triggered? How often do CEL go off?

If a CEL is triggered, what are the ways to fix it perminitely and if triggered what are the signs I should look for if it did get triggered? (Will there be ECU problems etc.? TIA
