Howdy!!! Im hoping someone can help me out here...I want to change out the stock exhaust manifold for a header and add a new exhaust system. Any suggestions? I really want to avoid the Honda-esque mosquito fart sound of exhaust; I'm trying to find something a little more throaty and deep than high-pitched and annoying. I've already swapped out the stock air box for a K&N cold air (which, as I'm sure most know, made a HUGE difference), and now I'm just trying to eke out a few more horses. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :dblthumb:

2.5 or 3.5?
There is a 2.5 header option.
There is not a 3.5 header option.

I've always found that members that don't list their displacement are usually 2.5, so you have a header to go with.

Thanks Jerseyboy, that is exactly what I'm talking about...Sanosuke, I'll check out some clips of the Greddy and let you know. How long have you had it/how many miles?...Sorry DJ_B_Easy, I had to create a new profile and forgot to mention that mine is a 2.5...OK, so now I have 2 suggestions for a n exhaust and one for a Y-pipe; How about a header? I know I've seen one on here before but I can't remember the manufacturer...Oh yeah, THANKS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! :woot:

Won't need a Y-pipe if you have a 2.5.
Other options are Magnaflow, Stillen, Nismo, or OBX (ebay). You can find sound clips of each on youtube.

Yeah, it appears I'm being torn between the Top Speed , the Greddy, and the Stillen...Stillen is in the lead mainly because that's the only company I could find that also makes a header for the 2.5...I'm still trying to find a sound clip of that combination...And yes,a Y-pipe would be silly on the 2.5 unless I was using it to beat some of the stupid people on the road here in Florida...
