Just installed a new exedy clutch kit today, but now i can't get the clutch to release, i've done many clutches before without problems. Could i maybe have a bad clutch master cylinder? Thats all i can think of, i bled it a million times, still the same. I'm thinking maybe the master is leaking a bit and not putting out enough pressure to release the clutch with the upgraded pressure plate. Any suggestions? thanks

Did you change the release bearing when you did your swap? If so, did you install it correctly in position on the clutch fork? Also, did you use a clutch alignment tool when you installed the disc?

Yeah i did the release bearing too, and its in the correct position. I ended up getting it to work right i think, i just had to adjust the clutch pedal at the master, just made it engage sooner, seems to be fine now, i'll have to take it for a ride tomorrow and see for sure.

Yeah, Nissan clutches for the most part have issues with pedal adjustment that alot of people mistake for an improperly bled master cylinder. Alot of problems can be solved by adjusting the pedal engagement, like slippage.

One more tip, be sure to adjust the pedal adjustment according to factory specs. Also, adjust it while the car is at operational temperature which means, do it while it's warmed up.
