NEW EX35 Owner....

Hi, on Monday I bought a new black EX35 with grey interiors. Mine is the base RWD. Actually this will be my wife’s car; mine is a Lexus IS250. A little jealous cause the EX35 outperforms mine in acceleration.

I live in PR, so you have a new overseas friend in here. Hope to learn a lot about the EX in this forum, my other place is http://www.clublexus.com.

Congrats to you and your wife. What options did you get with the EX?

No options .... in PR "state" taxes are horrible (about 18-23%)... example; the base price in the US for the Base RWD is $35,500, here the price for the same vehicle with taxes is $42,500. My base RWD IS250 was around $32,800 in US and $40,500 here. Is kind of abusive but we have NO options. We have just one dealer for luxury brands in the whole island. Even an Honda Fit will cost here around $17K-$19K USD.

Hmmm ... so that means you're paying the same level of "rip-off" pricing we Canadians also endure!
