whoa that's insane, i just took delivery of a 2010 Blue slate/grey+nav too last week... hahabellevuegeek wrote:I just got my new 2010 EX35 awd journey slate/grey w/ nav last week and I noticed that it seems to have an issue with my iphone.
When I plug in the iphone with the apple usb cable it displays my playlists yet when I try to select a song there is a long pause and after a few seconds a screen pops of saying "check usb device". I have been able to select a song a couple of time but after a little bit of playing I get the same message. Once when I tried an audiobook- a different one played. When I use a usb flash drive everything is fine.
Any ideas? I am not sure what is going on and I really want it to work with my iphone.
I should have mentioned it but yes the phone is up to date and I have tried resetting multiple times. It has also happened with two different phones, however they are configured similarly so I am not sure that there isn't some enterprise security policy mucking up the connection.Punjab wrote:I have a iphone 3g (over a year now) with no problems. I would advise to make sure the phone is up to date and do a full restore on the phone. also male sure the cable is plugged in all the way. possible a connection issue..
p.s. keep in mind that the car will not charge the phone..
That is quite a coincidence! I love the car and like the colors ever more than I thought I would. The slate blue is very handsome. I am using a couple of 3Gs' too. The cable has been reseated more times than I can count and everything seem fine otherwise. I am going to try a third iphone to see if there is something unique to the way they are setup.JCL622 wrote:

i've had no problem with the 2nd gen touch and 1st gen touch and 3G S. If you're not far from me, I could always take a look.
most likely, it's a software issue in your phone. However, based on ur username, i can't really imagine you NOT being on top of all updates, try to make sure all connections are clean, have you noticed any lag from your phone outside of using it in the EX?
That is a good question- I originally setup the bluetooth phone and then audio and then I noticed the problem. So I deleted the bt pairing. I subsequently re-paired for phone but not audio. I will try that again too. The phone has been reset many times and is fully up to date.yeahPowered wrote:I have an iPhone 3Gs and an 2nd Gen Nano and have no problem with the USB cable.
Have you tried resetting your iPhone?
Also do you get the same problem if you use Bluetooth Audio streaming with the iPhone>

That wasn't me but you are right the EXs do stand out, I normally see FXs more frequently. I will try again tomorrow or thursday and report back.JCL622 wrote:

anyway, i originally was going to get white, but they had the white and blue slate next to each other and blue slate is such a nice color lol...
so does it work correctly now with the BT audio disconnected?
