might want to try contacting your local z car club and find out who in your area they recomend

I almost ended up selling my z32 because of problems that not one shop including the nissan dealership(which was the absolute worst place to bring it) could come close to fixing. That is a big joke about asking the Z car clubs, I asked several of the online clubs and looked for 2 months just trying to find a "local Z car club" which apparently doesnt exist around here. I just wanted to say that i went through the same problem of finding a place to work on this type of car and anything anyone told me about checking with z car clubs and all that was just bs. But thank god i never sold it because by chance i happened to see another sexy z32 on the road and got talking with the owner and he told me about my now new mechanic which is kind of in the middle of no where but this guy knows his stuff. Enough to make me keep her

Im located in Utica, NY and the place i found is in Westmoreland, NY. If this is reasonable for you i could give you his number and you could see what he has to say. If not my best advice would be to just keep your eyes peeled for another 300z and chase him down.

sorry your local z clubs suck, mine is only a few years old but we do our best to help the local z comunity, and texas and cali have some of the largest and best clubs, and nashville for instance has doug stewart, the owner of crawford z car service as a member, this si the guy the makes the crawford intake for those not familar with their parts, they are experienced and service all generations of Z's

You guys could probably call up 240sxmotoring in CT, or Dent Sport Garage in MA. JNR Motorsports in NH, or find a competitent friend and do it yourselves. If I was around this summer, and didn't have other projects going on, I would be happy to help. there are a few other shops, but give them calls first.

xxtunning wouldn't do it? There is eternal motorsports on burnside ave in East Hartford. I knew the previous owner. Same guys work there. They have done a couple of sr20det swaps.

i've heard it before, but i dont have the space or all the tools to do it myself. and it cant be as easy as yank out the NA - drop in the TT. Would i need a new transmission? are the NA and TT trannys different?

Of course $$ is an issue but i have about 4k saved up right now for it and i keep getting inconsistent responses on pricing and whatnot, so if anyone has had the whole N/A to TT swap done in the general NE area please let me know where, who, and how much?

BTW sean - 240sxmotoring and CIP are very lacking in the 300zx areas of their websites, my assumption is that they would not deal with 300zx's but if you know otherwise please let me know.

thanks
