I can get this engine for only $795 with $80 shipping. Its the KA24DE. Its been leak down tested and all cleaned up with of course only 30k to 60K miles.

They has SR20's for 2500 and Skylines engines too. Not sure on price of the Skyline. But he said its the hole swap. This guy wants to put a skyline in his S10.

pretty good price for the ka if actually does have that much milage.....but i'm getting a sr20det (engine only) for 800 with 30-40k..... for 2500 i'm guessing that's a redtop front clip else that's just a rip off.....

30 to 60k is a pretty big range... not like its some motor from over in Japan where people dont really know what it came out of... they should be able to tell ya how much is on the engine. and $800 is a little steep also if you ask me... you can pick KAs up for $500 with trannies no problem from regular people. Junkyards are always more expensive.

$80 shipping is a sweet deal though.

I think if anyone ever learns anything off these forums is that you get what you pay for.

I bought my sr motor set from enjuku for 2650 and it started first time and hasn't had any problems except in a dream I had where I was driving it with no oil. Thats the only nightmare I've had for a few years.

oh man dont let me dream that. The SR comes with everything except the clip. But Good running engine, with nothing wrong with it. Might pay that much with shipping.

How did you get the SR for only $800.00

i'm getting my engine from mckinnley motorsport...i'm going to pick it up since it's only a half hour driver from my house...so that will eliminate any bull crap those seller might try to pull.... while it's true you get what you pay for..... my friend delivers parts to mckinnley motorsport and now there hooking it up......:D

define engine only? Long block? short block? with turbo? with intake manifold?

I take engine only to mean no transmission, harness, ecu or ignitor. In which case $800 is just about right. I wish i had the extra cash for a spare block..
