I just had a 92 engine swapped into my 96. We used the old intake mani, because of all the smog stuff, and vaccuum lines. It starts up really rogh, and idle is bouncing from like 400 up to 800 rpms sometimes. It doesnt bounce rapidly, but kinda changes here and there. If its not that warm and i let off the gas in neutral, it stalls. Also there is like 25% less power than my old engine, and this one has a 3-angle valve job. There seems to also be an exhaust leak between the exhaust mani and the mid pipe to the cat. It seem like this engine (has 1000 mi on it) is going to be even stronger when it gets tuned right, but do you think its timing, or what??Any input id appreciate, thanksBryan

What is the stock timing for a 96 AND A 92? what type of spark plugs should i use, iridium? Will an O2 sensor effect this? Or maybe the exhaust leak??? any input please....

Now it doesnt seem to rev past 5000 and it takes forever to get there, is there an optimum timing setting for this setup??? are the injectors, intake, or exhaust somehow clogged?? The shop I had it done by is going to look at it tomorrow.

cant anyone help, ive searched all over, but nothing. ive narrowed it down, but i just need some advice or some input.
