New Engine?

Well the engine I got locked up and I'm in need to a new Engine yet all my friends have been scammed or robbed from other people trying to get new parts. I don't want this to happen to me getting my new engine, anyways I was wondering what recommendations you guys would have on where to purchase a new or newer engine possibly with 30-80k miles Thanks in advance!

well you could always buy a re man motor from napa / autozone etc

or you could check craigs list and see if any one is sellin there KA cheap due to a swap.

All Ive had is bad luck from craigs so i'm gonna avoid that when it comes to car parts from now on.

here is my adive to you. if you go to a engine depo and they say the engines come with 30-60k on them. its more like 80k-100+k just look at front clips most are almost up to 100k when you convert the millage. regardless unless you pull the engine from a running car. you should at least to typical maintenance, ex. spark plugs, water pump etc. gaskets. have fun

yeah and make sure just dont order one over the internet and assume is all gravy, get a compression test and check it out before hand! you dont want something that already has a knock. besides most of them only give you so many days to return it just in case it did have flaws. and shipping will be a b**** cos its so heavy.

id start by goin to a junkyard and pullin one yourself. thats where i get my engines.
