my last engine blew so i put another engine in.. now the problems tht im discovering is. gas in the oilsputtering engine idle about 1000

now i have put new plugs in it and it doesn't sputter as bad but u can still feel it and its annoying. i tryed adjusting the idle screw and it will go up in rpms but not down? and the gas in oil the only thing that i can think of is maybe timing is off a tad bit or a leaking fuel injector.

any sugestions on other things that may be doing these things?

.... or a super rich condition. How is the Engine coolant temp sensor? is it within range? have you checked it with a ohmmeter? A bad sensor, even one that is sending skewed signals can cause a problem like this.
