So I finally went to the dyno to see what I could produce with the 370cc's injectors and z32 MAF and kept uping the boost. Finally my best numbers were: 251.34 rwhp and 300.79 lbs of torque. Now being that the car is automatic, it has power and torque spikes. So on a all gear pull it actually spiked at 393 lbs of torque. I know it doesn't mean anything, but it's cool to see on paper a number that high. If you don't know, my turbo , which is a tiny t3, started to loose efficiency at 5000rpm, but I had 14psi at 3800rpm. So for low end torque ( which was my goal) I'm happy with it.

What did the wideband look like? Can you post up a graph?

I'm thinking you went dangerously lean at peak torque

I have to take pictures and upload them, but the a/f ratio was steady between 11.2 and 11.7

Got a Walboro 255 for fuel pump. Stock FPR. Timing is set I believe @ 15. Horray for the small turbo!

Hey jookmasta. You are from south fla, so we should head out to Moroso together this wednesday, or the next. I'm beggining to meet some people with 240's down here, but no one seem to know one another. We need to flex our "muscles"

Buy a V8, but if you make 200whp with a V8 I will laugh at you.

my truck has a 6 cyl... makes about 400 hp and 650 ft-lb ... but that's diesel

If you want more torque than hp, you're into the wrong kind of car/ engine. You need to be looking for less rpm... look for something big displacement, with a long stroke. longer strokes typically mean more tq, less hp. Also, inline motors typically make more torque than hp due to the longer crankshaft driving more rotating mass and resulting in lower rpm numbers

Compared to other import 4-cyl. motors, the ka is pretty big and has quite a long stroke It's the truck motor of the import 4-cylinders.
