Installed the Eibach Pro kit today. With the help of my friend it took about 6-7 hours. I love the ride and look. If your wondering about the big dent in my car, here is the thread friend-backed-into-my-car-need-advice-t532907.html

*When installing the front springs there was no way of placing them where the Eibach logo was readable. It had to be upside down although I put them right side up for the rear.

Fronts are installed incorrectly. Eibach states the proper installation is so that the logo is legible. You have the fronts in upside down, you need to flip them.

Thanks guys. Rims will be my next purchase. Still debating on which ones to buy.

The last picture shown is of the front spring. There was no way for us to install them with the logo being legible and the logos started to rub off. Also a DIY thread said to shave some rubber but I didn't know what exactly to shave so I didn't. What are the consequences?

There was no way my fronts would go on with the logo right side up either but they fit perfect upside down too. I haven't had any problems with mine so far.

Its a bushing that you have to shave, but I thought that was for the rear? Anyway, I couldnt even tell you what consequences could be. Springs might compress differently if the load hits from one end or the other? A few members have had the springs literally break on them. I just know that was a specific thing mentioned in the installation instructions, I like to go by the book as much as possible.

I remember having to shave the bumpstop, and I did do that to mine. But the plastic hat that sits inside the top coil of the spring is just far too big to fit inside the top coil. But It fits perfectly in the bottom. I'm not convinced that mine aren't right side up and Eibach printed their logo upside down by mistake.

I didn't purposely add that. Must have clicked the stupid thing on accident.

i just put on my springs 2 weeks ago, and i agree with other's here. the letters are upside down on the fronts it just fit better. i also trimmed my bump stops about 1" on the fronts. wish the front spring's was as easy as the rear spring's. :) looks good!

beginning with 2010, the 2.5s only get 17's. If mine were 18's, id be all over lowering mine. hence why i havent dropped...waiting til i need new tires to upgrade and lower

I think it is raised higher than the rear because the springs were probably made for the 3.5 even though they fit the 2.5 version. The 3.5s are heavier which should cause the front to sag just a bit more.

I'm running on 17s and I haven't noticed any downsides compared to a larger wheel. If anything the extra sidewall makes the ride slightly softer and less harsh on pot holes and rough roads. Handling wise it should be the same as an 18" wheel (if the tires are the same).

I also had to install my front springs upside down. They work great so eibach is obviously a bunch of retards who cant even figure out what way there own springs are supposed to go. haha
