I'd highly recommend getting the aftermarket driveshaft. The U-joints in our driveshafts don't exists. If you pick up a driveshaft at your local junk yard, you will eventually have to replace the U-joint especially if you're making decent power. The aftermarket driveshaft will also eliminate the center bearing, which tends to flex under torque loads. I'd recommend getting the aluminum driveshaft. I had a driveline shop custom make me an aluminum shaft with the yokes of a Chevy truck, it's twice the size and ridiculously stronger. Well balanced. Price should be around $400. Good luck.
