New Driver - Black 2000 I30

Just wanted to say hello to the forum. Ive been trying to read up on the I30 as much as I can.

Posting some pics below. Its pretty much stock.

The tires are quite bald so Im buying new tires asap. But before I go and buy 16" tires, i thought i should consider buying 17" rims and 17" tires. Is there a safe 17" offset size? (ie. no rubbing, not too overwhelming). Any links to an area where I can view just I30 samples... someone posted a nice black I30 w/ Black rims... BEAUTIFUL....

The seller did warn me about the car dying when the car stops... Thats annoying... Whats up with that???

Since we share platform w/ maxima... does any wheel or modification (ie. suspension/springs) that can go on a 2000maxima fit my 2000I30 as well?

Jeez...questions already from the newbie..
