Well i bought the red 93 240sx as a project but as i started striping it there were problems after problems growing. almost 90% of the car was bondo which started to peel and also started to rust. when i pulled out the seats the floors fell off lol my luck. it took me my whole summer to fix it then when i got the car on a lift i gave up. the frame was rusted out. so now that i spent over 1k on the body work i decide its junk and i cant repair it. i almost cryed when i saw all my work go down the drain. but one day my dad found this black 91 240sx with a blown head and the rear panal hit. it looked okay. i decide to go and buy it. i started the bodywork in the rear. but for now the head is still blown since im broke and i have to go back to school but hopefully it will be done by next summer.whats commingrb26dett slivia s13 front with brick lightstry to make the rest of the body as stock as possable

this is the 93 240sx

okay now this is the new black 91 240sx

i pulled out most of the dents then weled steel plates then bondo the rest

more pics comming soon

I was about to say...that red s13 is rusted beyond saving. If the control arms are rusted, the frame is going to have holes in it. Don't get discouraged, I bought a car in that same condition for 1500. After spending weeks on it I realized it was pointless to save it and I found myself another shell.

Good luck with the build. Before you get carried away with thoughts of an RB26 I suggest you think about your goals. Drifting is a lot more fun with a proper suspension setup. I had a blast with my stock KA, it was more than enough save for one huge corner. Granted now that it's boosted it is a lot more fun, but I'm glad I did suspension first.

thanks for the comment well when i bought the red 240sx it had kyb air shocks which looked too be good so i swap them off the red too the black.i am planning to keep the ka24de engine until december then my plans are to swap it out and put the rb26dett. hopefully i can get a deal on it with the siliva s13 front with coils.but for now i spent my whole budget on the red 240sx and now i have no money to fix the black 240sx.

thanks for the advice

you spent $1000 on body work and didnt think to check out the frame rails?

you have perfect rear quarter on that red one and most of the panels look good on the red one too. why nott salvage SOME of the 1k you spend and put them on the black one.

looks like alott of mess on your hands.

well im only 16 i wasnt thinking about all thatthe guy told me the only rust was on the under the spoilerand i was stupid unuff to belive himwell the only good thing that came out of this is that i found out that the shocks and spring that are on it where kyb air shocks so thats the only thing i could really salvagebut right now my dad is parting it out and hopefully i can make back my money.the rear panals on the red 240sx had alot of small digs so it would of been best just to leave it and find a new project

thanks for the comment
