New Ditributor, New Fuell pump car still dies

After changing these parts my car still dies on me. The car will just die intermitenly. But when the car is running the car runs great. Then it will just die, it is almost just like turning the ignition off when it dies. Starting is also a problem. Sometimes it's just start right up and other times it is a just a pain. What could it be??? Pls. help

sounds like a loose connection somewhere, check your wires coming off the positive battery cable ,make sure they have a good connection in the socket.

Actually Nissan Shop have it now and even them can't find the problem... because the car runs just fine when they have it....help I'm stuck... I don't want to take the car home just to break down on me again.... If anyone have the similar problem please let me know how'd you solved it

you need to pay close attention to when it happens, like how had you been driving the car or how long had you been driving it, what is the weather like things like that try to find a similarity when it happens,try to find a common event that occurs just before it dies, this will help lead you to the source of the problem.

same thing is happening to me. occurs right after i climb up onto the turnpike. Its like a big sharp circle and i push the car into the circle kinda hard but after i get out of the turn and im speeding up to highway speeds, the car just shuts off. any suggestions?

mine starts back up after 30 seconds to 2 minutes of waiting. runs like a champ for little bit and then shuts off. thing is is that if i keep the revs under 2000, it wont shut off ever. I just dont understand. ill tighten my battery terminals again tho but i cant figure it out for the life of me. o ya do you think i would need new terminals if say they got corroded? like my previous battery was making the terminals corrode and the corrosion caused the positive terminal to change to a diiferent color. like half of it is bronze lookin and the other half is silver? could this be a problem?

Yes, change out your terminals. My car was doing the same thing new battery(optima redtop) and new pep boys terminals, haven't had a problem since. You may also want to check your chassis ground and make sure it's not corroded as well.

well i will then be gettin new terminals tomorrow. were they hard to install? seems like you have to crimp it promperly or does it come together already preassemble?

car wont start now and dash lights dont come on and seatbelt wont move and windows wont roll up. engine does crank over but wont start. i am getting spark but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
