Hey Dean, my windows don't go up no matter how long I hold the lock button. Do you have an aftermarket alarm system?

Nope, completely stock (as far as the alarm system) 06 M45.

The up feature Dean is referring to is when using the actual key (pull it out of the fob and stick it in the lock) in the drivers side door. Holding the actual key in the lock position will close the windows[sarcasm], and isn't that super-convenient when you are inside your office and it starts pouring?[/sarcasm] I don't know why they didn't integrate this feature into the fob, but they didn't. Presumably some safety thing.

Ah yes that makes sense but at the same time doesn't make sense LOL. I have never tried just the key so that's why I never knew. Again appropriate for this thread :)
