New diff concern

my friend who works at a transmission shop installed my 2-way diff and i drove around with it today. if feels nice, but there are two things that i'm not sure are right.1. when keeping the clutch in and going through the gears semi-quick while driving, i can feel the diff jerking or adjusting whatever you wanna call it.2. there is a slight high pitched grinding sound, like the gear is buzzing the diff cover.

i did the figure 8 break in process for 40 minutes if that means anything.

i think the lashing may not be tight enough but i'm not sure. any ideas?
