New Detail Shop

Hey, I was wondering if any of you guys live in New York? I opened up a detail shop, and am trying to get my name out. It is on Long Island in Garden City Park. So if anybody lives in the area you should come check it out!

I have some promotions going and if anybody is in the area and comes by from the forum I'll give you a special Nissan, Infiniti discount! Thanks!

Yea it's been sort of slow in the winter because it would not stop snowing!! But now that the weather is nice more and more people are starting to call. "Spruce Up For Spring" is on all the flyers that my fiancé and i are giving out! That winter was the worst, so a nice detail would sure help wash off all that salt!:D I almost forgot, for details I have a page you can check out (it is just a quick page that was thrown together untill i can manage to make a better one!): http://hometown.aol.com/qx4lp4me/

yea, its just a summer job, i work out of my driveway, im only 16. i make some good money...i guess...ill have to check out the competition;)

You use the machine when u do cars? Also do u have any help or do u do it by yourself?

all by hand, and i do it by myself. i really dont know much outside of waxing, cleaning and polishing. But i'm working my way up, its just something i do to make some moeny, but im very skilled in what i know, and people always tell me i should go commercial

Thats good, i have a "partnership" going with my fiancée. We do a machine compound and machine glaze along with a hand wax and all the other good stuff! You doing good though, a lot of customers?

yea. im doing pretty good, not as good as id like to, but im working less than most of my friends and making more than some of them, cant argue with that:)

Oh man!!! Today we had some lady's car to do, it was the worst car in the world!!! She claimed that her "dog" went to the bathroom in the car! I had to wear a mask while cleaning the stupid thing, you couldn't even breathe! She had the car detailed from us about a month ago, and we purchased plastic floor mats for her and she needed new ones again because they were all torn up! What the heck did she do, eat them?! But the reason why we detailed it again so soon was because aparently she stunk up the car so bad in that short time that the Hyundai dealer wouldn't even work on it!! Also, just to give you an idea of how bad it smelled, the vacuums we used had to be power washed in the inside because while vacuuming another car it blew out smelly air from the "creature's car" (thats what we knicknamed it!).

haha, yea i know what you mean. i detail cars too, and we get a lot of $hity a$$ cars. its like, i dont see how someone can get a car so dirty. it seems impossible. i know im a neat freak about my car but some of the cars are discusting.

some day I will have to get a pic of a car down the street for you guys (if its still there) The entire back seats and passenger seat is filled with trash, Its even across the dash. You can't even see inside the car from 5 of the windows
