Pioneer double din with bluetooth, usb, and satellite radio. The 2nd pic is the bluetooth microphone mounted with doublesided tape. But I have a problem. I unplugged the airbag light and hazard light switch to remove the dash and the airbag light in the cluster kept blinking when I would drive. Now that I have it all back together, it still blinks. I figured it would stop blinking after the light got plugged back in and disconnecting the battery didn't help.

you need to take it back to the dealer and have them reset it. your not supposed to unplug the light, just remove the entire assembly... day late dollar short

put your stock radio back in before taking it, or they will charge you because you tampered with it to cause the light to turn on.

If you have access to a OBD2 code reader or PC based diagnostic software, you can probably reset and clear the fault code without ever needing to get the dealer involved.

Nice deck. As for resetting your airbag light, give this a try. Worked perfectly for me...

As long as the airbag hasn't ACTUALLY been depolyed, this will reset the system. 1.Turn the key from off to on. 2. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key to acc instantly. 3. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .) 4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times. 5. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry. 6. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be flashing.

After I completed step 4 and turned the ignition back on, the light quit flashing without the need for step 5 & 6

That procedure actually worked. And I've already sold the old deck.

It was another Nissan forum from a Nissan tech, can't recall which one right now as I originally posted it quite some time ago. Anyway, you only use this reset method if actual airbag deployment IS NOT the cause of the blinking light. All it does is reset the system code that the warning light was disabled, so it won't effect the operation of the airbag at all.

Here's the original thread.
