New deck and timing belt cover, now it wont start

alright i took off the cas, turn the keys to on and turned the cas and listened for the injectors to tick...they did..now im thinking i put the CAS upside down..this is making no sense..also maybe the wiriing harness was wiring through the igntion, and now ive cut the other deck harness for the new one and it wont start...

not really sure but i dont think you can put the CAS upside down. aslong as every thing was at tdc you shouldn't have had a problem.

you may have bad a relay check the relays inside the car near the ecu. mine were bad and the car wouldn't start.

What's a deck harness? So it was running before and then you did something and now it doesn't? What did you do?

the wiring harness that plugs into the deck, yes it hasnt been running since i did it

Oh that makes sense. der.

Check your fuse panel to make sure you didn't blow a fuse that the mad scientist who did your wiring used for constant power supply to the ECU.

you cant install a cas 180 out. its keyed with 2 half moons. one in the CAS, one on the camshaft.

thats one of about 1000 reasons a RB is the best engine nissan made in the 90's

check your dash fuses, that rats nest screams "crossed wire" to me.
